We are now looking for an Emergency Planning Manager to join our team!
What You Will Do
- Lead the development and delivery of emergency planning and resilience strategies.
- Manage and enhance the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develop seasonal and crisis preparedness plans to maintain safe, reliable operations.
- Design and deliver business continuity exercises and training.
- Act as GTS lead for emergency planning, liaising with key stakeholders including Transport for London, Office of Rail and Road and Network Rail.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Civil Contingencies Act.
- Step in during disruption to support operational teams and customers.
What You Will Bring
- Relevant qualifications in business continuity, risk, or emergency planning (or willingness to obtain CBCI).
- Relevant railway experience
- Proven experience in resilience, business continuity, or safety management.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and crisis response frameworks.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, sound judgement, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
