The Role
Reporting to the Head of Safety, Quality & Environment, the Safety Performance Manager will lead the monitoring, analysis and continuous improvement of safety performance across the organisation. You will ensure safety data drives informed decisions, regulatory compliance and a proactive safety culture.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and analyse safety data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop clear reporting frameworks and performance dashboards.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Manage claims activity and liaise with third-party providers.
- Ensure compliance with rail safety legislation (including ROGS and ORR guidance).
- Provide expert safety advice to operational teams.
- Support safety improvement programmes and stakeholder engagement.
